Look at my avatar for Second Life. If you're not in SL, you're missing the fun.
I look just like this in real life too.
Hey, I am sort of playing hooky from work today. I have terrible neck pain that rendered me unable to move, raise my arms, fix my hair, or dress myself. It's terrible when your body turns against you. So now, I feel a little better and I'm not really sick, so it feels like I am playing hooky.
It's so unfair that retirement happens when you're old. I've never been one to really entertain notions of retirement, because I like to work, but lately I've been thinking it would be pretty swell to win the lottery and not have to worry about working anymore. I'd still do things, but they'd be fun things mostly.
I've been watching the first season of "Dexter" on DVD. I highly recommend it. It's a Showtime series about a blood splatter analyst named Dexter who has a very dark secret. When he is not fighting crime, he is a serial killer. You find out during the first season what happened that turned him into an emotionless killer. Very entertaining show. It appeals to my morbid side. I thought I would be happily watching the 2nd season of it by now, but alas... it has not come out on DVD yet. So I have to wait. Not my favorite thing to do.
I love to be off on a Wednesday. It puts such a nice little break in the week.
I have to learn to use photoshop. I want to learn to make clothes in SL. I can build things now. I am going to open a store in there sometime in the near future. My Mister and I are building our inventory right now. He's a much better builder than me. But I'm pretty good with the textures. He builds stuff and I put the textures on it. I think I'll be good at making clothes once I learn photoshop.
I think I'll go in and see what's going on in there...
