I had a crazy and unbelievable experience yesterday. I am sort of a lifetime insomniac so it is all the more foreign a happening. I was tired all day at work yesterday and when I got home, I decided to eat a quick sandwich and lay down on my bed for a little tv watching. I passed smooth out by about 6:30 and slept all night! I couldn't believe it. I have felt pretty good today due to the big dollop of extra snooze time.
The only drawback was this horrible nightmare I had. I dreamed that I was lost in a hospital at night and it was very dark. There were no halls so I had to go through patient rooms to go at all. I am very disturbed by the sight of patients, because I am an empath and I have a weak stomach. The sight of patients pretty much either makes me want to cry or hurl. Perhaps you can see why I went with an administrative role rather than a clinical one. In this dream, the more I stumbled along, the lostider I got. It was miserable.
That nightmare woke me up, but I went back to sleep and slept till morning. What a refreshing thing it is to get enough sleep for once!
I guess I'll get back to work. I had to break up the monotony for a few minutes.
