How To Make Crispety Crunchedy Peanut Buttery No-Bake Cookies
My folks are on their way to visit me today. They are driving 5 hours and should be here by about 5 pm. My dad has to have tests to make sure his remission is still in effect. I feel like he's fine. But prayers are appreciated anyway!
They will be in town for a few days and we are going to go out to eat tonight and Tuesday night. I'm looking forward to spending some time with them. I'd like to get my niece and nephew some weekend soon and take them to the zoo and the museum of natural science.
It's about time for me to plan a trip to Hot Springs, too. I saw Hot Springs on some tragic news report and it made me really want to go. ha. That sounds funny, but seeing a panorama of the main drag that goes through Hot Springs really makes me want to hop in the car and just go for a few days. I am thinking I will go sometime in the upcoming month.
I am enjoying the heck out of life right now. I absolutely love not being at a 9-5. I really need to win the lottery. I used to be such a career person, and now, I just want to be free of that. I want some paycheck, but I don't want to be trapped in an office 5 days a week. I think it's atrocious that counting time you spend getting ready for work, commuting, and being at a workplace for 9 hours because you have to take a one hour lunch break, you're spending 12 hours out of every 24 on your job!!! Europeans don't do that, my friends. It's ridiculous that we are expected to spend 12 hours out of 24, 5 days a week on a job until we are old. That's not how life should be. That's why I plan to work from home within the next 5 years. I want to get it so I am spending a maximum of 8 hours a day on work, instead of 12.
Last night I made some of those cookies from the link at the beginning of this entry. I made some while Mr. Philly was here. He likes them a lot. They are so good and extremely easy to make. No baking. You should try it.
Ok, I got things to do, places to go, people to see...
